So then I got into the habit of doing my projects on the go. One day, it was chilly on the L and my fingertips were ice cold. I was knitting a scarf for a friend. I thought to myself then that it would be better to work with one cold needle in the winter. Plus it’s shorter and less likely to fall out while I put my hands in my pocket to warm them up before I continue.
Then the idea was born, so I just kept on doing it like that. Sometimes if a summer project requires knitting I break out the needles but only while I’m at home or in a car. So now I have to think of some things that I want to make. I was really thinking about making blankets for some random reason. Maybe I will! I might come up with something interesting. I did want to make a fleece blanket from all the fleece I have left over from the other blankets that I’ve made.
But is that really a summer project? I’d say more spring-ish…….
